FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for preparation of frozen placer for mining includes removal of peats on a part of field. Opened bed of sands and peat of the other part of field is drilled with holes. Placed in holes drilled in sand is system of elements of condenser of heat pump plant, and system of elements of evaporator of heat pump plant is arranged in holes drilled in peats of field other part. As a result of operation of heat pump plant sands are thawed and peats are frozen. After thawing of sands, they are excavated with excavating equipment, and placed in holes drilled in peats of the other part of placer, are explosive charges which are blasted to loose peats and their subsequent placing into dumps.
