FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: device has housing where perforated cylinder is arranged; cylinder is secured on shaft located inside housing and connected to drive; device is also provided with loading bin arranged in upper portion of housing, unloading branch pipes arranged in lower portion of housing and abrasive members made in form of disks and arranged in tiers. Device is additionally provided with traps and baffle and guide plates secured to inner surface. Abrasive members are secured on outer surface of hollow perforated cylinder. Traps are made in form of sector box-shaped members which connect inter-tier spaces in pairs in succession. Baffle plates are made in form of sector circular members located over perimeters of intertier spaces. Guide plates are located on inner surface of housing for rotation about horizontal axis. Hollow perforated cylinder is secured on shaft which is provided with blades. Water supply branch pipe is connected to interior of hollow perforated cylinder. EFFECT: adjustable duration of presence of product being peeled in working zone; duration of stay does not depend on amount and density of flow being treated in working zone. 6 dwg
