FIELD: supersonic flame spraying. SUBSTANCE: gas cap is provide with the expansion ring chamber having inlet passageway for connection with a source of inert gas and outlet ring passageway brought out to the cylindric part of the combustion chamber. The gas cap is constructed as two rings of which the first defines the cylindric part and the second defines the cone part. The expansion ring chamber is formed in the space between the rings. The output passageway of the expansion chamber is made up as a ring slot between the rings. The ring outlet is inclined to the geometric axis of the gas cap, the angle of inclination being no less than the corresponding angle of the conical part. The input passageway of the expansion chamber is made up as a plurality of openings made in the part of the first ring which defines the cylindric part. The part of the first ring, which define the cylindric part, is made of a porous material. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 4 dwg
