FIELD: welding technology. SUBSTANCE: welding is produced by orienting the edges of welded articles 1 and 2 horizontally on the refractory base layer and is put out. The edges are fixed from arbitrary shiftings. Phase-separating band 3 is disposed on the joint of the welded articles. Thermobars are ignited are located over band 3 at an angle of 75-90 and are shifted over the band with the velocity corresponding to the thickness of welded articles and to the distance between the edges. The thermobars are drawn to the band according to their burn-out. Band 3 is made of low-carbon steel with the thickness of 0.4-0.6 mm and is bent along at an angle of 150-100. The thermobars are made of thermodaubing and of the ignition member of a steel core. The thermodaubing is made of the mixture, wt. 19-29.5 of aluminium powder with 78-70% of the iron scale powder per 3-0.5% of the nitrocellulose binder. The stated method and the thermobars can be applied in industry, agriculture, building and in homes in absence of the gas-and electrical equipment and electric power. EFFECT: reduced cost and reduced labour intensity of welding and of thermobars. 2 cl, 3 dwg
