FIELD: beet sugar production. SUBSTANCE: method involves juice mixing with suspension II of saturation, increase of alkalinity with lime for some stages, change of liquid stirring regime at the stage at pH 10.8-11.0, pH pause for 5-10 min, coagulation stage and addition of calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is added for two stages: firstly, at the dose 70-80% calcium carbonate is added gradually at the coagulation stage for 2-3 min, and at the second stage 20-30% of total quantity immediately after coagulation with preliminary activation with milk of lime. EFFECT: separation of predefecated precipitate on the cold, enhanced quality of purified juice. 2 cl
