FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: synchronizer has hub fixedly mounted on the shaft and provided with toothing and grooves uniformly arranged over periphery, locking ring received in the hub and mounted for permitting interaction with a pusher, and gear coupling mounted on the hub for permitting axial movement and interaction with projections of the pusher. All teeth of the coupling from one its side are reduced in height at some part of their length. Chamfering, which are smoothly conjugated with parts of the teeth having full height, are interposed between the reduced parts and full height teeth. The deformed pusher is mounted in the ring groove of the hub with a spaced relation between its projections and the reduced parts of the teeth. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 6 dwg
