FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in vehicles mechanical stepped transmissions. Synchronizer has one synchronizing conical friction surface, made in gear body. Synchronizing conical friction surface is additional to main synchronizing friction surface. Friction coefficient on additional synchronizing surface is considerably higher than, on main. Additional synchronizer is implemented as double and even fourfold action synchronizer. When implementing proposed synchronizer as double action synchronizer it has two additional conical synchronizing friction surfaces: in gear body and on additional synchronizer, rigidly connected to shaft or with gear in axial direction, but with circumferential gap equal to locking ring angle of rotation by blocking teeth quarter pitch. At that, only one of shaft or gear additional friction surfaces is connected to shaft or gear with circumferential gap.
EFFECT: enabling device higher reliability.
