FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: synchromesh consists of pair of gears connected with shaft freely rotating and rigidly connected with corresponding rims, and also of central unit. Each of the said rims has conic friction surfaces contacting conic friction surfaces of corresponding equalising rings. The central unit consists of a hub rigidly connected with the shaft, of a coupling performing progressive motions along the rim of the hub in axial direction and of device for blocking and fixation of coupling position relative to the hub. The blocking and coupling fixation device is made in form of pair of elements arranged in a row of hub cuts; the elements consist of an interacting blocking pin and a bracket spring loaded relative to the coupling. In a neutral position the bracket is located in an external cross groove of the blocking pin; the groove is made in central part of the pin on cylinder surface. From the side of ends each pin has orifices whereto cylinder lugs of equalising rings are pressed.
EFFECT: simplified design of synchromesh, reduced dimensions in axial direction, reduced run of coupling.
