FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: rotameter has measuring pipe, float disposed inside the pipe, electrodes, controlled voltage source. When changing voltage of the source, strength of electric field generated in electric field converter may be changed either, as well viscosity of liquid flowing through the converter, i.e. liquid flow may be simulated with viscosity being different from calibrated one. Rotameter may be calibrated as usual at different values of voltage of viscosity source. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 1 dwg
