FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: device uses wire loop 1 located on the ground surface. Computer 10, via switch 2, connects loop 1 to the point of connection of the output of drive AC pulse generator 3 and via choke 11 the output of unipolar current pulse generator 12. The pulse amplitude and length of generators 2 and 12 are controlled by computer 10. An AC pulse in loop 1 excites a nuclear magnetic resonance signal in mineral-nearing horizons, which is caught by the loop. By the arrival of the signal computer 10 by means of switch 2 connects the loop to amplifier 6, where from the signal is transmitted via synchronous detector 8 and analog-to-digital converter 9 to the storage of computer 10. By way of action of a static field pulse produced by generator 12 on the nuclear magnetic resonance signal an additional information is obtained on the depth of occurrence of the mineral-bearing horizon corresponding to this signal. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement. 2 dwg
