FIELD: timepiece production. SUBSTANCE: method of making a dial comprises steps of separate production (with subsequent joining) of indicator plate and a base with members for securing it to the plate; blanking a contour of the part and simultaneously blanking through separate recesses for parts of the mechanism, being protruded, namely: point assembly, a drive pinion and a bushon; using a protofilm as the indicator plate and using as the base of the dial a thin metallic strip with thickness 0.3 mm. Using of the photofilm, closing small openings for the protruded parts of the point assembly, allows to lower degree of surface finish of the and to enlarge a range of dials.
