FIELD: agriculture and biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: tuber crops are grown under controllable conditions by sowing the seeds into cultivation containers positioned on a vertical surface. The cultivation containers are made as bags of a biologically-inert porous material. Before sowing, the seeds are placed into a nutrient solution, the bags are moistened with water and sowing is carried out by injecting the nutrient solution with seeds into cultivation bags. The physiological processes in the growing plants are controlled by varying the microclimate, illumination intensity and intervals between supply of nutrient solution into bags. For harvesting, the bags are removed from the vertical surface together with tubers. Cultivation bags are made preferably from fiberglass. EFFECT: improved functional and operating characteristics. 6 cl, 5 dwg
