FIELD: agricultural technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural technology, to methods for growing microgreens from plant seeds. A module for growing microgreens from plant seeds contains a lower hydrophilic layer of mineral basalt wool and an upper covering layer of breathable paper with one-sided hydrophobic polyethylene coating on the side of the lower layer, attached to the lower hydrophilic layer to form closed pockets for plant seeds. The invention also concerns a method for growing microgreens from plant seeds using the specified module.
EFFECT: simplification of the cultivation of microgreens from plant seeds in standard living conditions using water only at the initial stage of moistening substrate with plant seeds located on it.
