FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: fishing rod support comprises two-leg post of strips whose lower ends are pointed and bent in opposite directions. Both halves of tubular holder are fastened to support strips. Tubular holder is rigidly secured to post by a lock-ring. Base of tubular holder has a stop. Fishing rod support can be used with any profile of river bank, it is simple and convenient in handling and transportation, has a small size and light weight.
