FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: natural sulfate-ion-containing mother liquors were treated preliminary with 30% solution of calcium chloride at 20-40 C, stirred and calcium sulfate precipitate is separated. Calcium hydroxide is added to the desulfated mother liquor and interaction is carried out at 95 C. The precipitate of the end product is washed with water at ratio solid:liquid 1:10.
