FIELD: papermaking. SUBSTANCE: method for paper making includes preparation of aqueous suspension from unbleached cellulose containing black liquor, addition of cationic polymer, sheet formation and drying. Cationic polymer is used in form of water-soluble linear polymer with specific viscosity (0.05 mas. in 2-M solution of HCl at 30 C) of 2-25 dl/g and charge density of 0.2-4.0 meq/g. Water-soluble linear polymer is used in form of compound selected from group containing cationic resin, e.g. cationic kieselguhr, and copolymer of acrylamide and diallyldimethylammonium chloride, acryloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride, metacryloxyethyltrimethylammonium metasulfate, metacryloxyethylammonium chloride and metacrylamidopropyltrimethylammonium chloride in the amount of 0.1-2.5% of dry fiber mass. When required, added additionally to cellulose suspension is anionic polymer with cationic-anionic polymer mass ratio being from 1:1 to 1:6.4. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 13 tbl
