FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: bridge in the form of pontoon 1 with ballast compartments 7 is mounted on hinge 6 in water channel 2. Chain 9 the ends of which are attached to body 10 is positioned in channel 8 located in upper pontoon part 1 and isolated from its cavity. Grippers 11 and 12 forming coupling fixture to stop pontoon 1 by chain 9 are fastened on the chain and pontoon on the front part of channel 8. Compressed air if fed in compartments 7 to overlap water channel 2. Pontoon 1 is floated up and takes vertical position while turning about hinge 6. Grippers 11 and 12 are coupled and pontoon 1 is securely kept by chain 9 in vertical position. Escaping air from compartments 7 and feeding compressed air in grippers 11 and 12 to uncouple them is used to lower pontoon 1 in niche 15. Compartments 7 are filled with air and pontoon 1 is laid into niche 15. Water channel 2 is open. EFFECT: increased reliability. 4 dwg
