THERMOSTATIC TRANSPORT TANK Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: storage and transporting of food products. SUBSTANCE: tank has metallic housing with heat insulation and cover having a part positioned inside the housing and made up as a hollow cylinder wherein a means for maintaining a given temperature inside the tank is received. The means has thermocouples and heat pipes evaporating zones of which are arranged in the space of the cover and condensation zones are brought out. The cold ends of thermocouples are mounted for permitting the heat contact with the inner face and cylindrical surface of the cover. The hot layers face inside of the cover and mounted for permitting the heat contact with the evaporating zones of the heat pipes. Radiators can be made at the condensation zones of the heat pipes. The tank is provided with an additional cover having openings. The additional cover is mounted above the first cover, the covers being interconnected through a heat bridge. The condensing parts of the heat pipes are brought out through the openings. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 1 dwg
