FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gauge to measure level of fuel in tank has instrument capacitor with profiled parallel plates connected to indicator through generator and frequency meter. Capacitor is placed inside sealed magnetopermeable tube which carries ring float with permanent magnet mounted for movement and interaction with ferromagnetic insert by means of magnetic field anchored on slider installed between plates of capacitor. Dielectric and galvanic conductive coats are applied to side of slider bordering on plates of capacitor. Width of profiled conductive plates is directly proportional to part of tank limited by this horizontal section from above. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of measurements. 2 dwg
