SETTLER FOR NATURAL WATERS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: turbid and highly turbid waters settling. SUBSTANCE: settler for natural waters has right-angled reservoir, bottom of which is provided with hydraulic system of sediment removal, made in the form of placed in parallel pipes with fittings on, connected through collector with cleansing water feeding branch pipe, feeding and removing pipelines for treated water and branch pipe for cleansing water with sediment removal. New thing in the settler is that vertical partitions, forming longitudinal canals are mounted on bottom. In the case partitions longitudinal upper edge has folds hinged to it so as to be capable to turn in vertical plane. Pipes are located on bottom of canals. EFFECT: settler for natural waters allows to decrease water consumption during cleansing. 4 dwg
