FIELD: conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: joint of conveyor canvas belt comprises two belt ends one of which is split into two parts and receives the other end of the belt. Both ends are joined by U-shaped staples arranged in parallel rows square to longitudinal axis of the belt. The upper and lower cover straps of the split end of the belt in the zone of each row of staples have slots arranged square to the longitudinal axis of the belt, coaxially to each other while the internal surfaces of the split end of the belt are disposed, respectively, on the upper and lower surfaces of the fabric carcass of the second end of the belt within the limits of the joint length.
