FIELD: conveyor belts.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of two ends of the belt containing the cord, the upper and lower covers, as well as overlapping the joint of the ends of the belt. The pads are installed from above and below on the sections of the ends of the cord of the ends of the belt that are freed from the covers and are interconnected by fasteners. The pads contain perforated plates made of spring steel, each of which is made in the form of a longitudinal axis of a belt of strips installed next to each other and interconnected by jumpers. The outer sides of the plates are covered with layers of rubberized cord, and the sides of the plates directed towards the cord are covered with layers of rubberized fabric cord. The outer layers of each of the pads are made of materials similar to those of the belt covers. Each of the pads is vulcanized into a single whole, including the perforated plate, together with the corresponding coatings on both sides. To accommodate the fasteners in the pads and the cord of the belt, coaxial holes are made passing through the strips.

EFFECT: invention ensures the elasticity of the connection of the ends of the belt; reduces the time spent on installing linings; eliminates of spillage of the transported product; prevents from pulling up the upper edges of the ends of the ends of the upper cover and the upper pad in places where they come into contact with each other by scrapers cleaning the upper surface of the belt; as well as an increases in the traction forces transmitted by the belt and a lengthening of the belt service life.
