FIELD: materials handling facilities; lift drives. SUBSTANCE: direct-drive machine for lifts and hoists has frame 1 placed on counter-roller holder 2. Frame has bearing post 3 and means of machine frame 1 and counter-roller 5 arranged on holder 2. Left-hand and right-hand outreach of counter-roller 5 can be provided by machine of one and the same design. Main shaft 6 is supported at extension side in two points by means of floating bearing 7 located on bearing post 3 and fixed bearing 8 located on shield post 4. Driving pulley 9 with brake disk 10 is placed between points of support. Driving pulley 9 is fixed on main shaft 6 by means of first clamping set 11. Double-side support of driving pulley 9 makes it possible to withstand heavy radial loads at little deformation of main shaft 6. Hoisting motor 13 supplied with alternating voltage has stator 14 with windings 15 and rotor 16 with rotor hub 17 moved on main shaft 6. Second clamping 18 fitted on end of main shaft 6 at drive side provides stationary connection of main shaft 6 and rotor hub 17. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 12 cl, 5 dwg
