FIELD: lifts.

SUBSTANCE: according to invention, in proposed drive of lift reduction gear housing is provided with flanged side pointed upwards and having side holes and flange plate for mounting electric motor housing. Electric motor is pointed with its axle upwards. Brake drum is installed inside flanged side, brake magnet is secured on reduction gear housing, and brake shoes are installed for action onto brake drum from outside through side holes of flanged side. Reduction gear is provided with worm being component part of electric motor shaft radially and axially held on lower end in reduction gear housing by fixed bearing. It has also worm wheel rigidly connected with shaft of wire rope guide sheave of lift.

EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of drive.
