FIELD: manufacture of filaments. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming optically anisotropic solution of polyparaphenylenterephtalamide through spinneret with openings arranged in line and through air gap to obtain filaments, with filament motion speed being within the range of 200-2000 m/min; contacting filaments with flows of coagulative liquid in common line across width of filaments produced, with flow rate being within the range of 87-96.6 of filament motion speed. Device has spinneret with openings arranged in line. Nozzle-type members positioned at both sides of spinneret in parallel with it are provided with slits extending at an angle with respect to filament path. Lines making continuation of nozzle slits intersect in common vertical straight line below spinneret surface. Device has nozzle-type member position regulation unit.
