FIELD: methods of producing threads from poly-m-phenyleneisophthalamide. SUBSTANCE: produced from m-phenylenediamine reacting with isophthaloyl chloride in amide solvent is solution containing HCl, then HCl is removed by passing through layer of ion-exchange resin in alkali form. In this case, preliminary partial neutralization of HCl with lime is possible. Then the needed viscosity and concentration of solution is set up by removal of amine solvents, and thread is pulled from polymer solution. Such a method of removal of HCl ensures obtaining of solution of high concentration with no turbidity. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl
