FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: refrigerator is built in the housing provided with front and rear flanges. The refrigerator has heat transfer passages to provide circulation of fluid to be pumped in the passages and spaces of the rotor and heat withdrawing passages. Half of the toroidal casing are made in block with the rear flange. The second part is coupled with the first one. The heat withdrawing passages are defined by a bank of ring-shaped pipes arranged in the casing to define heat transferring passages between them. A hollow is made in the casing and the rear flange at the site of position of which a pipe plates are mounted. The ends of the ring- shaped pipes are welded to the plates coupled with the casing and covers to permit pipes to be in communication with the connecting pipes built in the covers for supplying and discharging coolant.
