SUBSTANCE: parental alkylbenzene mixture consisting of para-ethyltoluene 10-90 wt.-% and ethylbenzene 90-10 wt. -% is subjected for dehydrogenation on the oxide iron-chrome-potassium catalyst at 580-640 C with superheated steam at mass dilution 1:3. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
