FIELD: catalytic processes. SUBSTANCE: catalyst is heated under an inert atmosphere, then in steam atmosphere, and aged, whereupon temperature is lowered to 580-650 C and catalyst is treated with reducing agent and steam fed by 2-10 pulses each 0.01-3 h long with 0.1-10-h intervals during which steam and/or inert gas are entered. EFFECT: increased catalyst activity.
