SUBSTANCE: charging device for coke dry quenching box has hopper, branch pipe installed in hopper lower part for vertical motion, mechanism for vertical motion and locking of branch pipe. Lower part of hopper and branch pipe have shaped protrusions, mainly L-shaped in cross-section installed over perimeter and forming hollows facing each other. Hollow formed by hopper and adjacent shaped protrusions faces upward and is filled with gas-dust impermeable material, mainly, with water or sand, and protrusion adjacent to branch pipe is installed for its introduction into gas-dust impermeable material and formation of contact closed circuit.
