FIELD: by- product coke industry. SUBSTANCE: charging device of set for dry quenching of coke has supporting fenders, bogie with drive, passages to suck away gases and funnel. Funnel shuts off charging door of quenching chamber. It is provided with at least one space bordering on passage for coke and communicating with space of charging door. Gas passage is brought into or communicates with this space. Apart from this space of funnel may be formed by additional surface protruding into passage of funnel. Space of funnel may be formed by bell mouth adjoining passage of funnel beneath narrowing. Space of funnel may also be formed by bell mouth anchored inside funnel. In this case gas passage is located in this bell mouth and passes through wall of funnel. Gas passage is protected by enclosure from flow of coke. EFFECT: reduced dust formation and expenditures for suction away and cleaning of gases. 3 cl, 6 dwg
