FIELD: separation of excessive copper from waste pickling solutions. SUBSTANCE: method involves effectuating recovery of copper-ammonia pickling solutions in two stages. At the first stage excessive copper ions are sorbed on cationite, at the second stage, cationite with sorbed copper ions, without ions of chlorine remaining in the solution, are subjected to electrochemical regeneration.
