FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes electrochemical processing of recycled copper-ammonium pickling solution in a triple-chamber electrolytic cells with two cathode chambers and two cation-exchange membranes, and at first the recycled mortar is subjected to electrochemical processing in the first cathode chamber with current density of 4-6 A/dm2, then in the second cathode chamber with current density of 2-3 A/dm2, followed by processing in anodic chamber with current density of 0.5-1.0 A/dm2. The titanium or stainless steel is used as cathodes, as well as the anode is graphite, titanium or niobium with platinum or ruthenium oxide coating.
EFFECT: enables the control and maintenance without permanent installation of regeneration to reduce the content of copper in copper-ammonium etching solution with entry level to the desired value.
