FIELD: computer technology. SUBSTANCE: optical joint has the first and the second cases of the connectors, which have side walls with guiding parts and clasping elements, which form joint latches with like latch elements of side walls of the second case. Top and lower walls are fastened by centering bushings and screwed pair. Rare walls are connected with side walls by screws. Joint has elastic gaskets, unit of foots of carrier plates, which has fastened gaskets, rests, guiding pins and guiding grooves, and elastic gaskets. The joint is mated with fiber-optic cable by means of its light guides with external protective envelope and with it itself. Carrier plates are centered one relatively anothers by means of lockers. Stacks of carrier plates are integrated into single unit by means of elastic gaskets, provided with attached gaskets. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 7 dwg
