FIELD: computer technology; fiber- optic systems. SUBSTANCE: optical joint has plug and socket. Each unit has case inside which "k" multichannel interresponse self-connectors are mounted, as well as base, and the first elastic washer. Washer is mounted between corresponding case and base. Each multichannel self-connector has case of connector, stack of plates for carrying optical fibers, the third elastic washer. The latter is mounted between case of connector and stack of plates. Each connector's case is spring-loaded by spring-loading member. The second elastic washer is mounted between case of the connector and base of plug or socket. Each connector's case and stack of plates for carrying optical fibers of plug or socket are made with interresponse guiding members and entrance holes. Guiding members of the case and response entrance holes of case of the socket are made to have catch member. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 1 dwg
