FIELD: microbiological cleaning and reclaiming of organic impurities in gases. SUBSTANCE: gas to be cleaned is passed through the zone of intensive mass transfer to water absorbent containing microorganisms of activated sludge and compounds of nitrogen and phosphorus. Carbon or alloyed steel is used as catalyst. Catalyst is used over the entire zone of mass transfer with specific surface of metal being within 150 to 250 sq.m. per cubic meter of mass transfer zone.
