FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic striking tool includes case 1 with windows 2 for passing of air, longitudinal screen 3, lateral screens 4 and 5, electric motor 6 with fan 7, reduction gear 9 and striking mechanism. Striking mechanism has magnetic core 12, forward 13 and backward 14 motion coils installed in frames 18, buffer 16 and block head 17. Frames 18 has radial protrusions 19 dividing coils 13 and 14 into sections and forming conduits 20 for air passing between sections. In process of operation of striking tool air goes under action of fan 7 through windows 2 into space limited by screens 3, 4 and 5 where it cools magnetic core 12 and coils 13 and 14 bending around laminations of magnetic core and passing through conduits 20. Then heated air is removed from case 1 with the aid of fan 7. Windows 2, stacks of laminations of magnetic core 12 and radial protrusions 19 of coils 13 and 14 are interoriented in such a way that it provides for effective cooling of striking tool.
