FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hand-held electric perforator has body, electromagnetic percussive mechanism, electric motor, fan, device for starting motor and percussive mechanism. The latter is installed in body with a spaced relation to form channel for passing cooling air. Body upper base has channels for intake of cooling air from ambient atmosphere, each of which is communicated with channel for passing cooling air in body upper base. Motor and fan are located in socket formed by shaped protrusions together with body walls. Inner space of socket is communicated with channels for discharge of cooling air. Motor is installed in a spaced relation to socket walls to form ventilation channel whose outlet is located in suction zone of fan. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
