FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hand electric perforator has hollow housing, electromagnetic drive with hammer head, trunk with central channel for placing the working tool and electric motor. The trunk is mounted for rotating and coaxially with hammer head. Output shaft of motor is kinematically connected with trunk through step-down transmission. Longitudinal axis of motor is located perpendicular to that of trunk. Step-down transmission has self-braking pair of gear wheels conjugated between themselves. Their longitudinal axes intersect. One of the pair of gear wheels is located coaxially outside the trunk and is hard-mounted with the latter. The longitudinal axis of second wheel is disposed parallel to that of motor.
