FIELD: preparation of water for domestic and industrial use. SUBSTANCE: device comprises a casing with covers and pipes for admission of untreated and discharge of treated water, a bactericidal UV lamp with a protective quartz cover, an ejector installed on the water admission pipe, the quartz cover chamber being connected by a pipe with an air source and a pipe for recirculation of ozone-air mixture and ejector vacuum chamber, and a brush-type quartz cover cleaning device installed rotatably around the quartz cover. The device incorporates a UV radiation control system with a photodetector installed in the casing wall, blades in the form of an impeller, installed in the casing opposite the source water admission pipe and connected with the cleaning device, flow guides in the form of projections disposed spirally on the casing internal wall, the brush type cleaning device being arranged coaxially with the quartz cover throughout its length, and the ozone-air mixture recirculation pipe is provided with a flow rate control valve.
