FIELD: treatment of natural and sewage water sediments for reduction of sludge moisture content. SUBSTANCE: sediment condenser has rollers 11, belt 2 movable on rollers 11 and pressed to them by weight of auger conveyor 3, water accumulating chamber 12 and flocculating chamber 13. Flocculant is introduced into basic sediment supplied via pipe 16. Sediment and flocculant are supplied through branch pipe 23 into spiral pipeline 22 with increasing section, where sediment is readily mixed with flocculant, floccules are grown and free water is separated from sediment, which is delivered into diffuser 25 to prevent floccules from destruction. Water is discharged into water accumulating chamber 12 and through filtrate collector into recovery unit 9. Settled sediment floccules are supplied into first coil of auger conveyor 3 through annular gap between wall 26 and cylindric chamber of chamber 13.
