FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: sewage is homogenized and sediment is removed from receiving reservoirs by a pulsating mixing device operated by compressed air at a working pressure of 1.1-2.0 of the hydrostatic pressure in the reservoir at a submersion depth of the device and a frequency of hydraulic pulse equal to 0,1 - 10,0 min^-1. Simultaneously with hydraulic mixing, the materials are mixed by air pulses generated by a pulsating mixing device at a relation of the duration of hydraulic and pneumatic pulses varying from 1: 0.5 to 1:2.
