FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device is essentially long shaped harness made of extruded materials and inserted in this extended form into electric cables, pipes, and similar parts; materials selected for the purpose are those based on alanine and/or trityl cyanide which suffer optical changes and/or changes in their molecular structure under effect of high-energy radiation. Base for extruded materials may be thermoplastic rubber, polyolefin, or olefin copolymer, ethylene-propylene rubber. Shaped harness has solid, such as multilayer, or hollow shape. Separate layers may be arranged concentrically in respect to each other. In one of options, one layer contains alanine and other one, trityl cyanide. External layer of shaped harness may contain trityl cyanide and transparent cover overall which may contain ultraviolet radiation absorber. Alanine and trityl cyanide may be introduced in harness in the form of extruded strips placed on or inside shaped harness which are passed along it or over spiral on or inside harness, or are made in the form of closed rings axially spaced apart. Device may be provided with polyamide or polyaramide base polymeric material sheathing with threads or strands of high tensile strength arranged in longitudinal direction. Shaped harness may be made in the form of longitudinal bulge or thread. Shaped harness sheathing is made of extruded material possessing high mechanical endurance and based on polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyurethane. EFFECT: improved design. 21 cl, 10 dwg
