SUBSTANCE: airfield lighting system model for landing training has N optical channels of various spectral ranges with parallel optical axes, each formed by reflector, radiation source incorporating power controller, light filter, lens, and hood all mounted in tandem and secured on platform; some of radiation sources are of pulse type and remaining ones are continuous-running; in addition, it is provided with range finder connected to visibility range category setter and landing inhibiting indicator, photometer, N light source brightness calculators, N meteorological visibility range metering units for each spectral range, atmosphere scattering coefficient meter (scatterometer), sea brightness coefficient meter (hydrophotometer), atmosphere turbulence meter, color comparator, spectrum analyzer, square-root extraction unit, semi-transparent reflectors, and servo drives. Platform is provided with drives coupled with ship's roll and trim setting elements. EFFECT: improved design. 6 dwg
