FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves intravenously administering to a patient 0.04-0.06% buffered electrolytic solution of sodium hypochlorite at a dose of 2.0-3.0 ml/kg of body mass on the background of general anesthesia during the surgical intervention 10-20 min before the end of the operation. The buffered electrolytic sodium hypochlorite solution is prepared at the rate of 0.4 g of sodium bicarbonate in 100 ml of solution.
