FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: cleaning unit moves over a pipe line under the action of pressure of a transporting liquid. Seals of different sizes and flaotability are introduced in the zone behind the cleaning unit. The seals are submerged into a sealing solution. Device for cleaning has cleaning head 2 coupled with pulling plate 3 via a coupling 2 and with piping housing 6 via flexible tie 4. Resilient torus- like plug 7, centering units 8, and resilient perforated pipe 9 are secured to the housing. The other end of the pipe is connected with resilient gasket 10. Seals 12 of different sizes and floatability and sealing solution 13 are mounted inside space 11 between the torus-like pipe. EFFECT: enhanced quality of cleaning. 3 cl, 1 dwg
