FIELD: purification of water in municipal economy and industrial enterprise systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating concentric downward and upward flows of water to be rectified, with water being introduced into downward water flow in portions; vacuumizing water flow and mixing it with air by reducing supplied water portion to rectified water discharge level, with water vacuumizing extent being regulated by downward water flow depth. Apparatus has housing formed as well provided with cover. Rectified water collector is positioned above cover. Vacuum air separator is made in the form of tube with air branch pipe and flotation inclusions intake device, which are mounted on floating unit. Precipitate collector and pipeline for discharging water to be rectified from air separator are positioned for displacement in vertical plane.
