FIELD: production of titanium dioxide. SUBSTANCE: method for production of alloyed titanium dioxide includes synthesis of titanium tetrabutoxy from titanium tetrachloride, butanol ammonia and water with compound molar ratio of (1-1.2): (2-2.5): (1.8-1.9):(1.5-1.6), respectively. Hydrolysis is conducted with ammonia solution up to pH 6.5-7.0 and ammonia concentration of 8-9 M. Method includes introduction of alloying elements: copper and/or nickel and/or vanadium and/or tin and/or chromium in form of ammonia and/or alkali solutions, and aluminium and/or silicon and/or molybdenum in form of aqueous solutions of their salts which are introduced at the stage of mixing ammonia with butanol. Manganese and/or of zirconium and/or lead and/or antimony in form of hydrochloric acid solutions are introduced after introduction of titanium tetrachloride. Niobium and/or tantalum in form of alcohol solutions are introduced at the stage of hydrolysis with pH 2-3. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
