FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine mechanism for converting reciprocation into rotation consists of slide interacting with pistons and rack with toothed space made in the slide. The converting mechanism rotates pistons by an angle at the end of each stroke. As a result, pistons, the bottom of which are provided with deflectors, serve as slide valve dispensers.
