FIELD: mechanical engineering; two-stroke internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: to provide nonsymmetrical timing phases of engine with crankcase displacement scavenging it is proposed to impart rotary motion to piston at which lip (projection) on piston crown and cutout on piston skirt provide spool control of opening of timing system ports. Device converting reciprocating motion of piston into rotary motion is made in form of connecting rod whose big end is formed by hinge joint with three degrees of freedom. Rotating member of engine is made in form of crank whose axis of rotation is arranged at acute angle to longitudinal axis of cylinder. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 14 dwg
